Way back in 2002, when Mum first became a resident at Beacon House, we were all concerned how she would settle in. As it turned out - like a duck to water. We consider ourselves fortunate to have found a real home as opposed to an elderly persons' residence. The staff at Beacon House have made Mum's remaining time very pleasant and I know that Mum really appreciated the change of room in her last weeks there. Despite her agitation in later years I know that she thoroughly enjoyed her time there. And you can regard it as a back-handed compliment that Mum never had a bad word to say about it. She particularly enjoyed the Summer and Christmas festivities when the entire family turned up to be with her.

Mum was a resident at Beacon House for nearly five years, after we took the decision to move her down from her native Nottingham. During the five years she has received excellent care from the team and we cannot speak too highly of them. Mum was a character and she was loved by me and my family, and my brother Trevor and his family. We came to think of your staff as family. It would be unfair to name any individuals, but every single member of the team deserve credit and the management are superb.

My wife and I and our family would like to thank you for the efficient, kindly care and attention which you and your staff have given to Audrey , and to Angela's parents, before that over a period of twelve years. You have always acted professionally, and we know that our relatives (when in better health) enjoyed the surroundings at Beacon House, and appreciated the attention they received. We have always been made welcome, and have been glad to join in various activities and parties at the Home.
